HELLO ZOMBIE!

and as most longtime followers have probably already heard of my love for the Scary Stories series…here’s a bonus…my first scary movie was the superb Monster Squad

Monster Squad is a great movie for many reasons, but it’s notable for a pretty great opening sequence, starting with the above intro which segues into a flashback involving dracula, vampire women eating rodents and zombies. 

I begged my parents to let me rent Monster Squad for my very first sleepover. Except it didn’t end up being a sleepover so much as an everyone call their parents to take them home because they are too afraid to sleep…over. My fate as an unpopular geek was sealed. NO REGRETS.
