HELLO ZOMBIE!

just thought I’d throw out a few of my thoughts into the Prometheus conversation:

as a story solely about the Prometheus science expedition that went horribly wrong, it is massively entertaining, thrilling, and gorgeous; this is stimulating sci-fi eye candy like we haven’t seen in quite some time

go much deeper than that, and you’ll ultimately be disappointed…as much as the film tries to ask the BIG questions, it falls short of providing any sound logic for us viewers to use in order to ponder possible answers

final thought: all I could think of at the end was one of my favorite sci-fi reads, Mary Doria Russell’s The Sparrow…the parallels are apparent and well, let’s just say that some things are better left unknown…
